Cable Marine, Inc. was founded in 1977 as a full service boatyard. During the course of the last 33 years, Cable Marine has added the specialty services of The Marine Power Center. In addition, we have added advanced technical capabilities in hydraulics and electronics to meet the ever-changing demands of our industry.

Cable Marine, Inc.’s experience in servicing yacht electrical systems ranges in scope from a complete vessel rewiring, to repairing a short in a shore power cable. Our electricians can install or service: inverters, converters, transformers, and other electrical system components. We can customize your interior and exterior lighting with state-of-the-art fixtures with unique applications.

Since Cable Marine, Inc.’s inception, our mechanics have routinely attended manufacturer’s service schools to keep up-to-date with the ever-changing technology. Our mechanics have available on-site the specialty tools required to provide efficient and accurate generator or engine rebuilds or repairs.

Our East Yard facility has an I-Beam hoist arrangement that minimizes the labor required to remove and install generators and engines. Also, our mechanic shop is air conditioned.

 The Cable Marine Power Center was developed to offer competitive engine and generator sales and service to our extensive customer base in South Florida, the Bahamas and the Caribbean Basin. We sell and service over twenty different engine and generator lines, including: Caterpillar, Crusader, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, merCruiser, Paxman, Yanmar, Dynamica, Entec West, Fischer Panda, Kohler, Mase, Onan, and Westerbeke.

Underwater Gears:

ver the years, our bottom paint specials have set the South Florida price and quality standards for bottom cleaning and painting. Strut and rudder repairs, shaft alignment, and other types of bottom work are also available at Cable Marine, Inc. We provide fast and reliable prop reconditioning service. Cable Marine, Inc. also works with advanced materials and methods to correct bottom blistering.

Welding:

Modern equipment and experienced personnel highlight our welding operation. Whatever size of the job, whatever material surfaces involved, Cable Marine, Inc.’s metal shop can meet the challenge. Our metal shop routinely does custom fabrications and repairs.

Hard-tops, fly bridge arrangements, house enclosures, cabinetry, plus custom designed fiberglass components fit our experience in fiberglass fabrications. We use the highest quality resins, gelcoats and paint to create a high quality finish to match your existing yacht.
